About Me

I started a diamond setting apprenticeship in 1998 in London's jewellery quarter- Hatton Garden. After completing the 6 year apprenticeship I started working for myself, initially setting for Hatton Garden and then eventually for West End clients and major luxury jewellery workshops, as well as self-employed craftsmen who are some of the finest  in the trade.

In 2008, I spent some time in a very traditional workshop in Australia before taking some time out to go travelling. I have now relocated to Cornwall and have been setting for jewellers in London, Nottingham, Hertfordshire, Cumbria, Surrey, Glasgow, Cardiff, Swansea, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall ever since. I have also set for independent artisans and workshops/ ateliers in France.

I have invested in micro-setting equipment and microscope for fine micro-setting work and have undertaken further training in micro setting techniques. I work with a microscope on all work and pneumatic air-powered tools, with the aim of enhancing my work. However, it is important to carry on the traditional techniques. I try to combine both old and new to reach the best standard, so I also offer a full range of traditional diamond and gem setting services (rubover, flush, pave and claw work) to all clients, ranging from independent artisans and small local jewellers to major London companies as well as national work, and everything in between.

I am insured with a national insurer and naturally all work is locked away over night.

I can supply references upon request.

I can offer you a no obligation quote now, so contact me for more information.

Work is sent using insured Royal Mail 'special delivery' and Royal Mail Parcel Force to Europe, which is also a secure, insured and signed for service.
